Diacool Ice - When a greater amount of ceramic material needs to be removed, a vitrified diamond infused diacool® ICE instrument will quickly and easily get the job done. Unique diamond particle shape and size, combined with a special binder, ensure ceramics, zirconia, lithium disilicate and feldspathic materials remain cool, thereby reducing the possibility of creating micro fractures while grinding. With only minimal pressure applied, restorative materials are quickly and safely reduced and shaped. Some techs prefer using a coarse diacool® ICE, just slightly more abrasive, yet they also remain cool and effective. The new diacool® ICE MINI instruments make getting into tight areas easy. Our large B406 wheel is an excellent choice for larger sprue connector & flash removal / reduction. After using any diacool® ICE instrument, we recommend using our Berry instruments that leave a smooth pre polish surface.
